If you're unsure if your item or another CC item is BGC, there is an easy way to check in S4 Studio.

Open the package in S4 Studio and navigate to the warehouse tab. Press on a CAS part and the 'Data' tab should pop up on the right hand side.

You will see an entry that say 'Pack ID', with a pack greyed out. If this says BaseGame, that means the item only relies on the base game. If there is any other pack ID there, it is NOT base game compatible. Refer to ‣ for instructions on how to make a package bgc.
