I got an anon about making a recoloring tutorial for @pyxiidis “The Witching Hour” and how I specifically recolor in this palette, so let’s get this thing started! To start off here are some things that you will need to recolor the same way that I do:
I also suggest checking out this video about how to recolor from @holosprite It’s the one that I personally watched when learning how to recolor and she goes through the steps pretty easily.
First thing first, this tutorial will teach you how to recolor CC and EA hairs in the palette and the way that they are done is very similar. So let’s start by putting your CC meshes into your Sims 4 Studio folder. This can be found in your Documents.
Open Sims 4 Studio and in the bottom right-hand corner there will be a box that says “Creator Name” and type your creator name in there like this:
Now one thing to remember when recoloring in The Witching Hour, you will be making AT LEAST two package files for each hair, regardless of if it’s a custom or EA hair.
Start off by selecting “Override” under the CAS button like this:
